How did you feel about going through Basic?

Retry Correct Incorrect In the movies, it’s hard not to get the impression of Basic Training as a waking nightmare where drill instructors are just constantly yelling and crafting sadistic punishments. But even though that’s pretty exaggerated, it’s still an intentionally gruelling process in real life. How would you look back on it?

How did you feel about going through Basic?

• Believe it or not, it was even tougher in my day
• I am not going to miss waking up at 5:00 am to get worn out and yelled at all at once
• The longer I spend the military, the more sense those days make to me now
• I went through Officer Candidate School, but that wasn’t any easier
