A Way to Heal

Some army veterans, haunted by the harsh reality of war, choose to have their awards tattooed on their bodies. For them, this can be a way for them to remember their experiences overseas, honor the friends they lost, and congratulate themselves on their achievements. Many veterans consider receiving a tattoo to be a helpful part of their healing process.
