When “Baywatch” was the talk of the town in 1994, Hasselhoff decided to strike while the iron was hot and developed a more grown-up version of “Baywatch” called “Baywatch Nights.” The new show’s ratings were less than impressive but producers didn’t cancel it to avoid throwing shade on the original series’ popularity.
