Bob Turns 90 In Style

Although he had been retired from The Price Is Right for years, you just know that Bob Barker would return for something as momentous as his 90th birthday. The event took place in 2012. The show honored Barker with a week of episodes in his honor, culminating in a special guest appearance by the former host himself on December 12, his actual birthday.
The studio audience was, of course, surprised and thrilled to see him in person! During his appearance, Barker announced a contestant (the first time this has happened in the game’s history) as well as one of the final showcases.
