Dian’s Lawsuit
The official statement, given by Bob Barker himself, was that she was leaving to “pursue other interests.” However, it turns out that Barker himself might’ve had a hand in her leaving. One year later in 1994, Dian filed a lawsuit against Bob Barker. Her claim was that she had been sexually harassed and was even forced into a three-year sexual relationship with Bob, at the risk of being fired from the show.
She ultimately dropped the lawsuit in 1995 after being unable to sustain the cost of pursuing the lawsuit as well as it taking a toll on her health. She was not the only Barker’s Beauty to have an unseemly departure…
