One of Prince’s neighbors claims to have grabbed this shot of him at his Paisley Park home just 3 days before his untimely death. In the photo, Prince appears to be happy and relaxed, not in pain like some rumors have stated.
The superstar was frequently spotted out and about on his bicycle.
Prince’s last performance was at his Paisley Park estate on April 16. A few days before then, he played two sets at The Fox Theater in Atlanta. On his flight home, they made an unscheduled (emergency) landing where Prince was admitted to the hospital for undisclosed reasons. He was released just a couple of hours later and reassured his fans that he felt fine. His death has spurred a national conversation about chronic pain and the treatment of addiction.
