Funnyman Pryor had a long and prolific acting career, including roles in See No Evil, Hear No Evil; Lost Highway; Silver Streak; The Toy; Mad Dog Time; Harlem Nights; Brewster’s Millions; Another You; Carwash; The Wiz; The Three Muscatels; The Mack; and Lady Sings The Blues.
Pryor is pictured posing with Eddie Griffin, shortly before his death from a heart attack that resulted from the multiple sclerosis he’d battled for years.
Pryor’s widow Jennifer was quoted as saying, “At the end, there was a smile on his face.” He was cremated.
