Frank Zappa
Died at (December 4, 1993)

Frank Zappa, the eccentric musician, songwriter, and filmmaker, died of prostrate cancer at home with his wife and children by his side. This photo is a still from one of his last interviews, and he’s clearly not feeling well.
Zappa was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997.
