Actress Christina Ricci made her acting breakthrough with the role of Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family in 1991 at the age of 11. She was highly praised for her performance and has since gone on to subsequent films such as Now and Then and Casper. She tried to be a more serious and take on more adult roles as she got older, such as the role of Dede in The Opposite Sex, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe. In recent years, Ricci has started on the television series Pan Am and in an off-Broadway production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
