Barbara Bach – The Spy Who Loved Me
American model Barbara Bach was already a household name in the 1960s, after appearing on the cover of major magazines like Vogue, ELLE, and Seventeen. Her first film job was in an eight-hour long rendition of Homer’s The Odyssey in Italy. She landed the role of Russian spy Anya Amasova in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me in 1977.
Bach turned heads in the Bond film, but her appearance in a strappy black bikini was absolutely legendary. With her dark hair and eyes, her look in The Spy Who Loved Me has been called iconic. Bach is married to former Beatle Ringo Starr.
