James Bond films always feature some gorgeous women, and Dr. No wasn’t an exception. In it, Swiss model Ursula Andress played the part of Bond girl Honey Ryder. Honey Ryder was a comely shell hunter who caught Bond’s eye in Dr. No, which was the first James Bond film ever. Her white two-piece bathing suit and hunting knife made quite an impression on movie goers.
Andress never underestimated the role that swimsuit had on her life, saying “This bikini made me into a success. As a result of starring in Dr. No as the first Bond girl, I was given the freedom to take my pick of future roles and to become financially independent.”
