Man Gets Trapped in Factory Oven
In 2013, Alan Catterall was cleaning the inside of the industrial oven at a kayak factory after it was facing some operational problems. While in there, his co-worker and future son-in-law Mark Francis, came along and switched the oven’s power on without checking inside.
Switching the oven on causes the oven doors to shut and lock from the outside. Soon, the oven started to heat up and it could reach up to 536° Fahrenheit. Nobody knew Catterall was in the oven and he ended up suffering severe burns before dying of shock. Based on the evidence, Catterall tried to break out of the oven with a crowbar to no avail.
