The “Dolls” in His House
In 2011, a Russian man named Anatoly Moskvin earned a reputation as a grave robber after he was arrested. Described as a ‘genius’ by those who knew him—he was a historian who could speak 13 languages—he was also a recluse with weird habits.
He was arrested after authorities found 29 dead female bodies dressed up as dolls and displayed throughout his house. The bodies were exhumed from local cemeteries and Moskvin was only caught after authorities went on an investigation of desecrated graves. We can’t say why he did or what he did with them, but this story is wrong on so many levels.
