The Evil Bettis Boy
Gerald Floyd Bettis was born in 1954 and lived in Cleburne Country, Arkansas. He reportedly collected stray cats and dogs around his neighborhood in order to torture them. Neighbors would be able to hear to hear howls from the innocent animals from inside the house. But the animals weren’t Bettis’s only victims. He also kept his own aging parents as prisoners in their home as he grew older.
They stayed upstairs and Bettis would only feed them when he decided they should eat. Bettis even threw his 70-year-old father out the window and left him hanging for dear life on the ledge of the house, after having already broken his mother’s hip. Eventually, they were removed from his care and Bettis left, but their family home is now haunted.
